dr_david_lewis01.jpgDavid Lewis BSc (Hons) DPhil, FISMA, FINSTD, C.Psychol is a neuroscientist, a Chartered Psychologist and a Fellow of the International Stress Management Association.

David started his professional life by studying medicine but switched to psychology gaining a First Class Honours degree in human sciences in 1981 and, in 1985, a doctorate from the Department of Experimental Psychology at the University of Sussex. 

After lecturing there in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology he left, in 1988, only to return twenty years later as Director of Neuroscience at Mindlab International a brain research organisation based in the Innovations Centre at the University of Sussex.

David has written scores of best selling books on many aspects of psychology most of which have been translated into dozens of languages. 

Many deal with procedures of intellectual enhancement in both adults and children. His groundbreaking books on child development include: The Secret Language of Your Child; You Can Teach Your Child Intelligence; Mind Skills; How to Be a Gifted Parent; Helping Your Anxious Child and Helping Your Child Through School.
For adults he has co-authored such books as Thinking Better and Know Your Own Mind (with James Greene).

David’s extensive research into the relationship between stress and health led him to write a number of books on this important topic, including: The Doctors’ Heart Attack Recovery Plan (with John Storey MD); One-Minute Stress Management; The Alpha Plan (made into a BBC TV documentary); Life Unlimited: Peak Performance Past Forty; Ten Minute Time and Stress Management and Information Overload - Practical Strategies for Surviving in Today's Workplace.

David’s work has also been featured on numerous television programmes as well as in newspapers and magazines in Europe and the United States.

DarrenPortrait.jpgDarren Bridger is a psychologist and author whose interests include brain-imaging and human performance. Darren is co-founder and producer at Mind Masterclass Films, a company which produces educational DVDs on mind improvement subjects. Aditionally, Darren acts as an associate director of Neuroco, which specialises in using neuroscience to understand people's reactions to new product designs and advertising, and The Mind Lab, which specialises in measuring the mental and physical responses of people in almost any situation or environment.

Darren is the co-author of Think Smart, Act Smart: 101 Ways to be Effective and Decisive and The Soul of the New Consumer.
